Short Version: In the past 15 years almost every worthwhile new idea in so-called party-line headset intercom systems started right here.

Long Version: We concentrate our new product development efforts on modest, practical solutions to the real problems which our dealers and end-users pass along to us. Typical of this approach is our AD913 adaptor which provides an interface between ordinary walkie-talkies and the intercom system. Another is the Blazon group of products, a bright strobe light with or without an audible annunciator which is connected to the system like a belt pack, requires no outside power source, and is activated by any signal lamp button in the circuit. Our loudspeaker stations are equipped with a circuit which, when triggered from any remote station, overrides the front panel controls. Volume can be returned to preset levels (up or down); switched-off stations turned back on. More ‘solutions’ are in the works, and we continue to solicit your suggestions.

4. Performance

Short Version: Our stuff sounds as good or better than any other product out there.

Long Version: Our wide bandwidth, natural sounding reproduction and low noise threshold reduce the incidence of ‘ear fatigue’ and the irritability which can result. Very high sidetone rejection capability permits our loudspeaker stations to be used in full-duplex, hands-free mode without feedback. Carefully chosen matching impedances eliminate changes in level as stations are added or removed. Feeds to remote paging amplifiers sound as good as if they came from a high quality microphone. Feeds into the intercom system from an audio mixer or run-of-the-show microphone are reproduced with realistic fidelity. Comfortable headsets with deep, soft muffs make 3 and 4 hour performances tolerable.

Long Version: Every one of our products is priced competitively, and most lead the market in value - substantially. Depending upon the brand chosen for comparison, and the mix of products, you can expect to save as much as 15%. Because we offer our dealers generous discounts on quantity purchases of items such as beltpacks and headsets, even greater cost reductions may be possible.

Short Version: The stuff hardly ever breaks. Ask around!

Long Version: Rough usage is a fact of life for headset intercom systems. At every step, from design through production, we question the effect of any decision upon the ability of the product to survive in its natural environment. At times we must sacrifice beauty for brawn. We don’t claim un-breakability, but we do get very, very close--and we’re constantly looking for ways to make the products even tougher.

Short Version: If you’re looking for the drop dead best customer service in the industry, test us. Who else even bothers to have an 800 number?

Long Version: By definition, Production Intercom is going to be used in ‘productions’, and (cliché or not) the show (game, concert) must go on. Our customers (and their customers) have a special need for quick turn-around on repairs, immediate parts availability at ‘non-punitive’ prices, prompt and knowledgeable telephone assistance, and the occasional 6:00 PM FedEx drop-ship to a show site. We consider providing such services an everyday part of our business.
